We offer a variety of treatments to relieve the discomfort and unsightliness of varicose and spider veins

Ambulatory Phlebectomy

Ambulatory phlebectomy is a surgical procedure typically performed in the office under local anesthesia. It is for large, bulging varicose veins that persist after any underlying “leak” in a refluxing “feeding vein” has been eliminated (typically by endovenous laser treatment or radiofrequency closure). Tiny incisions are made with a needle, and the varicose veins are removed with specialized instruments. Typically, no stitches are required, and most patients return to work the next day.
